We ate here last weekend when the Lovin' Life music festival was going on uptown. It was such a good idea to walk out of the festival to eat instead of eating inside. Food was great. Came out hot like our neighborhood Sabor and the dining area was clean. I do like the dim lights in this one. Employee popped our beer caps at the table and was so nice bringing our chicken tacos out. They had beer specials that we took advantage of. Nice cold ac on the inside on a hot day. We also had a pineapple empanada that was delicious!
Staff was very nice and welcoming. The steak taco and nachos were good. Place was surprisingly not busy.
Food and sauces were delicious. Good service and laid back atmosphere. Loved the variety of sauces. If you want excellent Latin food I recommend this place.
Omg....I just ordered food from here from Uber eats and had to write a review as soon as I finished eating. I've had bad luck with Uber eats in some cities- so I was shocked when I received this delicious goodness that surpassed all expectations! The Cuban bowl was so dang good! Every bit of it- the fried plantains were delicious! The shredded chicken- the incredible Barbacoa and black beans- just AWESOME! I also ordered two beef empanadas but I'm so full I have to save them for tomorrow - I'm sure they'll be delicious as well if the main course was any indication. Oh- also ordered some pico de gallo- so fresh and yummy! Thanks y'all!
The steak taco was yummy. Lots of well seasoned flavorful meat. I tried the pork belly one too - and the portion of filling was lacking. Maybe it's because it was an hour before closing. In any case, it was good but missing a few pieces. I'll be a k hut would probably skip the pork belly. I do love that their tacos are authentic. No yellow cheddar cheese and crispy giant corn chip taco shells! Just onion, like and cilantro!
Really good food. I was not sure how big the empanadas were going to be since most places tend to serve small ones. I was surprised when one empanada from here was big as two elsewhere. I had the shredded chicken with cheese. Wow! What great flavor. I also used the pineapple habanero sauce. It was very good. It had a little burn but not overwhelming. The food came out pretty quick as well. I recommend eating here.
